Computer Games Development
I studied my BSc with majors in computer science and computer games development at the University of Cape Town. In my final year I specialized in virtual reality, studying it as a core course and selecting a VR topic for my honors thesis. This helped me to realize my passion for virtual reality. Since graduating I have developed several virtual reality environments, with most focusing on spatial sound.
Frost
Frost was my final games development project during my undergraduate degree at the University of Cape Town. The game is a round based survival game. The player has access to 3 abilities: speed, damage and heal. These abilities are recharged through pick ups dropped by enemies and that spawn around the map. Every 5 to 10 rounds a stronger 'boss' enemy will spawn. The next round begins only upon killing all enemies.
